Jamaica isn’t just a country to me, it’s my roots, my story, my family, my heartbeat. Even though I grew up in New York, Jamaica has always been a huge part of who I am. The culture, the music, the strength, the pride, it’s in my blood and it inspires everything I create as an artist.

When the hurricane hit and I saw the damage it caused, families displaced, homes destroyed, communities struggling, it hit deeper than just seeing a tragedy on the news. These are my people. My culture. My heritage. And I couldn’t watch from a distance without stepping up.

That’s why I chose to dedicate this show, The Desires Alchemy Experience, to something bigger than myself. Music has the power to heal, uplift, and bring people together, and this is my way of turning energy into action.
